Papillon Paws began at our kitchen table and still runs from our home.
Our story
What started as one much-loved papillon became a family calling. Over the past twelve years we have grown carefully, keeping our litters small so every puppy gets time, touch and attention.
We are an AKC-approved, family-owned breeder. Our dogs live with us, not in kennels, and our puppies are raised underfoot, among the everyday sounds and routines of a busy household.
We are proud of the families we have met along the way. Many stay in touch, send photos and come back for a second papillon.

We talk with every family before a puppy is reserved, because the right home matters as much as the right puppy.

About the papillon
The papillon is an ancient toy breed, named for its fringed, upright ears that resemble a butterfly’s wings. Despite the delicate look, it is a sturdy, cheerful and remarkably smart companion.
Papillons are lively but not loud, affectionate but adaptable. They do well with families, singles and seniors, and they thrive on gentle training, short walks and time with their people.
Their silky coat has no undercoat, so grooming is simple: regular brushing keeps it neat and tangle-free.
